Hi all

A few years ago, Mafiagato from Spain and Mr Zam from Norway joined forces with me (Djouls from France) to build this ninja-mega-site. After publishing a complete Ninja Tune discography with ALL the artworks (even from promos, flyers, etc), we started expanding towards other labels and artists (Big Dada, Counter, of course, but also many other independant artists and labels).
After a while, Mafiagato decided to quit the site in order to launch his own one - a useless egotrip in my humble opinion as all kind of competition in the music field is totally absurd, but anyway, no hard feelings.

Soon after, Mr Zam, who had made a backup of all the images from the site, simply disappeared. All the images were deleted from the solidsteel.org server (which I personnaly didn't have access to), the only ones left were the one I hosted on my own djouls.com server.

I don't know what happened.

I tried to write to Mr Zam a number of times, without an reply. I'm starting to get really worried now. Not for the images from the site, but for my Friend Oystein from Norway (aka Mr Zam). I hope nothing's wrong happened to him. Anyone that could enlighten me on his situation would be really helpful.

Also, I'd love to get all those images back. Mafiagato, Mr Zam & Myself spent hours, days, scanning all those beautiful artworks, and not only Ninja Tune ones, but also for many small indie labels and artists, who I'd love to keep on supporting.

Anyone who can help me with this, who downloaded images from the site and has archives, who knows where Mr Zam is, who... any kind of help is welcome!
I'll give a selection of 20 (TWENTY!) official Ninja Tune promo records to the person who will help us get those images back. 20 promos from my personnal collection.

This mix from LA's purveyor of the abstract hip-hop beat shows GLK's masterful skill of segueing curdled, gooey electronic, bass heavy electronic hip-hop instrumentals, weird psychedelia derived from esoteric Anatolian rock and jazz and funk from Ethiopia and the Middle East. Strange, un-easy listening born from the most heavy, demonic, hip-hop sludge. 'I Spit On Your Grave' joins the dots between the eccentric production of Madlib, John Carpenter's soundtracks, J-Dilla and Warp's Flying Lotus.
