Press Release :
The debut LP for deejay extraordinaire P-Love, whose toured as part of Kid Koala's DJ crew, and was part of Medeski, Martin, & Wood's UninvisibleLP. Finally on his own, P references influences as varied as Bomb Squad era hip-hop,'60s girl groups, 19th century brass quartets, & lo-fi indie rock.

Having played with just about everyone on Ninja Tune, you've probably already heard P-Love. You might have mistaken him for Kid Koala after one of their shows together. Or you wondered who was the short guy playing just about every instrument on the Sixtoo tour. That was P-Love, also referred to as the 'Ninja Tune fifth Beatle'. Well, he's finally got around to recording a full length called 'All Up In Your Mind' and will be available September 20th on Bully Records (distributed by Ninja Tune, hence why we're plugging this in our newsletter). You can download a free MP3 from the album.

Not only is P-Love's All Up In Your Mind album the fourth official full length release for the Bully Records imprint, it's also a long awaited album from an artist whose backed the likes of Kid Koala, Amon Tobin and others for years, so expect some serious genre crossover, from punk to programmed drums and mellow electronics. The album also features an array of guests, including Bonobo, Simon from Quantic Soul Orchestra and a vocal appearance by Amon Tobin. We have a feeling this is a very promising start for Bully Records.
