The Lotek HiFi crew is back with another stunning little slice of 7" action. Keeping it bubbling with what can only be described as ragga-disco, the four man crew who brought you the underground stomper "Ram Dancehall" return with a warm up for their forthcoming self-titled mini-album.

Lotek HiFi consists of four individuals of contrasting style, experience and background. Wayne Bennett is perhaps best known for his work on Roots Manuva's two LPs, "Brand New Second Hand" and "Run Come Save Me," but he has a long history in the game and has worked with and remixed for the likes of Fallacy and Ty. He is no mean MC, either, as evidenced by his first verse on "Percolator".Earl J is the 19 year old wunderkind son of Jamaican dancehall legend Jack Radics. The middle verse here shows what he's capable of, but there's more, much more, to come. Over, Wayne Paul and Aurelius add their own flavour on the "Refill". Wayne Paul is renowned for his street soul releases of the mid-nineties on Rhythm & Business and Aurelius has come up as a drum & bass and garage MC, but is now applying his booming basso (and his clarient, in fact) to the Lotek HiFi sound.

To add a few extra bubbles, the boys are joined by Gamma's Blackitude, who tears up the last verse and reminds everyone yet again why he's one of the most compelling voices in this country's hip hop scene.

Once again, this 7" is strictly limited in numbers. Get it quick before you're left with that Starbucks milky crap instead...
