Electro Caramel Records don't exsist anymore. It was a sub-label of Jazz Fudge Records which was founded by DJ Vadim but also ended along with Jazz Fudge in early 2005. These 4 7inches was all there was. Reptiles still do rhyming and are on a tour with DJ Vadim these days (2007-03). The Philip P.I.N.N. was released in 1984 as a very early electro releated french style. DJ Vadim liked it so much that he traced down Philip and convinced him to do a repress along with a new track on the B side (P.I.N.N. Electronics). Kid Acne is really dope with his rhyming and underground lo-fi/hip-hop style. Last one is by DJ Vadim as Andre Gurov with a Reptiles remix on the B side. These 7inches are limited and rare to find these days.

Quand on aime, on ne plombe pas...
Dans la série "sachons nous remettre en cause ensemble, dans le respect mutuel d'une commune idée avec laquelle nous sommes tous d'accord moi et moi-même", l'écoute ô combien terrible du sus-dit Dj Vadim. On a cru bon d'oublier qu'on avait pas aimé les albums précédents et on se lance dans l'écoute totalement neuve du dernier opus du Vadim pourtant pas si Roger que ça... Surprise ô combien surprenante, j'vous jure, les premiers samples calés comme si vous essayez de rouler avec des roues carrées, parlent directement à mon cortex, y imprimant dés le début les traces bien connues des Ninja Tune productions. Si on m'avait dit que je dirai du bien de Dj Vadim, et bin je l'aurai peut-être cru... ou cuit! (putain, qu'elle était lourde celle là!).
Quoiqu'il en soit, Dj Vadim est un grand Dj Hip hop qui a su garder ce qu'il avait de bon dans sa musique, y ajoutant un je ne sais de plus lourd dans les productions qui les rendent plus "bouge la tête" que jamais. Du hip hop lourd qui s'accompagne des phrasés efficace d'une myriade d'invités venu donner le ton avec l'autorisation de leur maison de disque, de leurs groupes ou même de leur mère. Démonstration de scratchs par Vadim et ses amis, Dj primecuts, Mr Thing ou Iriscience, pendant 25 titres surprenant positivement pour un disque hip hop dans la lignée des ninjas.
