Un remix inédit de Roots Manuva, ça se fête!! (On n'arrête pas de le dire, mais: ils sont fort ces ninjas) Surtout quand il s'agit d'un hybride electro dancehall jungle brazil fiesta sur lequel Roots (permettez que je vous appelle Roots?) peut chauffer l'audience à son aise... Ambiance drum'n'carnaval, avec ce qu'il faut de cuivres pour réchauffer tout ça et finalement bien porter son nom malgré tout le côté "digital" de l'histoire: "Roots" indeed.

Lotek Hi-Fi est le nouveau projet de Wayne Bennett, que l'on connait pour avoir produit quelques tracks sur les deux albums de Roots Manuva. Sur "Fire" il malaxe hip hop, ragga, dancehall et breaks imposants autant qu'inventifs, pour nous prouver, à l'instar de la compilation "Extra Yard", que Big Dada est bel et bien le label de hip hop anglais le plus inventif et le plus original du moment et surtout que c'est parti pour durer un bout de temps.
